LCSW

Maria believes therapy is a place to slow down, become curious about yourself, and better understand the patterns that may no longer be working for you. She enjoys helping people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and life's many transitions and unexpected challenges.

Maria's approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. She draws from CBT, ACT, EMDR, and mindfulness and somatic approaches, with a focus on each client's individual strengths, experiences, and goals. In her work with couples, she also incorporates the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy.

You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Together, Maria and her clients explore what matters most and identify meaningful steps toward the life and relationships they want.

Clients describe Maria's style as kind, calming, and helpful.

When she's not in session, Maria can be found making art, being outdoors as much as possible, and checking out local music or other activities with family and friends.
